Instead of starting a new thread to "update" people on the items you're selling, it would be more efficient AND easier to follow if you posted any updates in the original thread you offered the items in. It's very confusing when you've got nine different threads on the first page here, and information about your items mixed inbetween all nine threads.

Flack
12-14-2003, 07:44 PM
It would also be helpful to list the items for sale in the topic. It's very confusing trying to find which thread had which item in it.

I know, but i have like 8.000.000.000 things to sell
and i figured if i mixed them up alittle, it would be easier to refere to.
but ...... if you look at the last thread i put up.
maxlords already suggested the same thing so i put multiple items up
in one post.
pretty much , i got what your saying about too many sale threads and
i already tried to correct it.

yeah thats a good point.
but what am i supposed to put as a header?

I have a PCEngine LT, Sega CD , TurboDuo , Gameaxe, Neogeo cd, atari,
30 VHS tapes, Collectables , Controllers , Wall scrolls, Comics and Mags,
3DO games, Sega CD games, PCengine CD's , superfamicom carts....

ALL IN ONE HEADER?

Ok, I haven't been able to be here all day and I can't sit and watch the forum ALL day. So let's start at the beginning.

Wether hu6800 moved all of his stuff in here or some other mod did it for him, I do not know. All I did was lock the threads that said "moved to another thread" and found this one. I left this unlocked since all the stuff is in here.

It is common courtesy to other sellers to post one topic containing all your stuff, this allows for more people to get their stuff on one page. Maybe put 'Various Consoles, Games, Acc, + VG Toys FS HERE'

Can EVERYONE on this board take a chill pill? Everyone is jumping off the deep end lately

FIRST GEN Playstation 2 import mem card and bios cd
(macrovision , and region lock free bios) $10

So it this like a swap disc sort of thing? Will I need to have a modded PS2 to use it? Would it do any damage to my system? Does it have to be 1st. gen? How can I tell if it is?

Ok, I got this all retyped so it's easier to read! I have a TON of stuff for sale, almost my whole collection! Systems, games, game mags, collectibles, you name it! All prices are in US dollars and do NOT include shipping! Shipping is extra! I'm near Hartford Conneticut, so figure shipping from there. I would like to only ship to the US. I can take US Postal Money Orders only, no Paypal!

The last sentence may help....Most people do Postal MO's only because they can get the $$ and ship the stuff in the same trip. Not that it's that far to drive to the bank but it's a hassle nonetheless...

i dont have a bank account , so unless you want that shit to take at least
a week to clear,, i suggest you send a PO money order.
I know it seems sketchy.. but to the real sellers its a godsend.
I even include my cellphone number to the buyer so at anytime
they feel sketchy about buying something they can always
just call for the status.

another thing,, if you feel like the items you bought or sale went unfair..
im really easy to work with and i keep good contact with my buyers.

I think the only thing i have due to go out at this time
is a few items to a nice guy who sent me another KI gold for my N64.

i welcome more sales..
i have a shit load of import hucards going up real soon.

Not that it's that far to drive to the bank but it's a hassle nonetheless...

Means that it's a hassle to drive elsewhere to get a MO cashed. Anyways, I agree with everything that you do and think postal MO's only isn't such a crazy idea.....But I don't think that's the way you read it the first time.... :hmm:

It just depends how much you're sending, if it's not much.....then they might overlook it. I had somebody try to send me 2 of these because of a limit on his CC. The smaller portion went through fine but the rest of it was caught by WU. And, if he doesn't have a bank account......most places get pretty snotty about cashing checks with them. I had some place that wanted to charge me $8 a check to cash there...... :eek 2:

that just happened to me,, when i sold the Neo Geo CD
the buyer sent a canadian bank money order...
it was instantly a hassle.

when i know ive got something sold, the day after the person
tells me they sent the money order i box the item so its ready
to ship.. then i cash the MO and ship it.

Drawbacks...
Having the person at the counter in the post office tell
me they just opened so they dont have enough money in the drawer
to cash my MO.. thats some silly shit .. so i wait til the end of the day
then go to the PO...

Holidays like xmas slowed stuff down alittle with shipping ...
Getting REALLY sick (im still sick) and needing somebody to help
you get your stuff packed and shipped...
Not knowing what to price some of the stuff i wanna sell, so i have
to consult with maxlords.. i wanna be fair with the prices.
