I'm new to the whole MAME PC arcade thing and I'm looking for anyone who as a load of MAME ROMs and a good heart who would be willing to burn CDs of them for me. There's an emulation forum where, at the moment, we're actually discussing setting up system so everyone can get the roms they need. Might want to head over and check that out.

- find a tombstone burner next to you. You can send them CD's or DVD's and they'll send it back to you burned.
- Get it from alt.binaries.emulators.arcade or alt.binaries.emulators.mame

Again, look for info in the emulation area.

As far as butta.. he's an idiot.. just ignore him. Wyou do in your home is your business, not mine and definetly not Butta's. He's one of those morons that will never understand it. He'll continue preeching how we'll all burn in hell for playing ROMs, while listening to MP3s he doesn't own running applications on his PC that he didn't pay for or registered after the 30 day trial is over.

Okay, I never defend Butta.

HOWEVER

It does look EXCEEDINGLY bad for some random guy to pop up in the video game forum and on his VERY FIRST POST request that one of us go through the trouble to send him ROMs. I mean, really. Someone that does that probably IS a rom whore.

And as far as first post, every one of us had a first post.. (it's actually his 14th or so) and all of us made mistakes at one point or another..

actually i'm not a whore and it wasn't my first post, i'm just new to roms and was looking for a way to get some quality ones. after i was informed that there was a forum set up for such a thing i immediately expressed my interest in said forum and agreed to be one of the burners once i get a good ammount of roms. now i'm not trying to be a jerk and correct you (in fact i'd like to thank you for the information you provided me on my other thread about the waku waku rom) and i'm not mad or anything, i'm a pretty easy going guy, i just don't like being called a "rom whore", also i apologize if i made anyone think that i was trying to mooch roms, that was not my intent. :)
