I am trying to gather information on unreleased Nintendo 64 games. Does anyone remember any of the titles which were canned?

Thanks.

In the last week I have read about Final Fantasy 64 but this is too never released. And I heard, that maybe Final Fantasy 7 was first for the N64, but I don't know for sure.

And I think I remember hat I heard something about a 64DD Game with Mario Kart 64DD. That you can maybe built yout own courses. Or was this F-Zero 64DD?

But all not sure, maybe someone know more about these. But Final Fantasy 64 have I see on the Lost Levels site in the Forum, never heard from that before.

Final Fantasy 64
Final Fantasy 7 (maybe never started, or Final Fantasy 64?)
F-Zero 64DD ???
Mario Kart 64DD ???

I have a big list of 64DD games that were planned in an old game magazine I have. I will dig it up when I go home next week.

In our forums topic (http://www.lostlevels.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=99) that you apparently read, we more or less disproved that Final Fantasy 64 was ever even remotely close to existing. Still, though, if it was announced and/or rumored, it's something I'd want to see on a complete list.

Cubivore is a game that was originally made for the 64 DD but was unreleased.

After FFVI (FFIII US), Square had its employees work on a 3-D graphics demo to hone their three-dimensional artistry. They produced the FF SGI demo. The FF SGI Demo featured FFVI's Locke, Terra, and Shadow and ran only on high-powered Silicon Graphics workstations. The game was uniquely controlled through a series of mouse movements (for example, moving the mouse in a star shape summoned a dragon). It was assumed that the FF SGI demo showed what the new N64 FF would look like, but Square stunned the gaming world when they announced FFVII would be for the PlayStation instead.
