Hi guys,

I bought a new copy of Mace Griffin: Bounty Hunter for Xbox for $10 yesterday. However, the on-line reviews on the game are pretty mixed ranging from average (5) to pretty good (7). Has anyone else here played this game? What are your thoughts?

If anyone wants to know why this is so pressing, for $5 more, I can go back and snag the last copy of Panzer Dragoon Orta...

It's an average shooter. Not bad, but not great. One of the suckier parts of it, IMO, was that most of the bad guys had personal shields so you HAD to aim for the head to put them down quickly.

Can't say yea or nay on PDO as it's not my cup o' tea.

I haven't played it myself but I've considered picking it up. I remember that American reviews on it were below to above average, but I remember seeing it on the back of a British mag (GamesTM) with some review scores attached to the ad and they were all exemplary (9's on a 10 scale).

josekortez wasn't the only one to get this game that cheap.

my local target had a few copies of the game left , clearenced price at $14 I think. Of course for that price I picked it up. Even if the game isn't triple A , for less than $20 bucks it couldn't be that bad.

I got Mace Griffin at Target for $10 yesterday. I think it was one of those sales that the crew in the electronics section missed when they were grabbing the clearance items. It was sandwiched between two PS2 Greatest Hits titles.

I also found Sonic Mega Collection for $15 still in the glass showcase, the lowest price I've ever seen it, considering EB and Gamestop are charging $34.99 for pre-owned copies. Our local Target hasn't had anything but PC games on the clearance shelf for about 2 months.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I'll take your advice under advisement.

This just in...EB Games is selling Mace Griffin for PS2 for $10. This price doesn't bode well for the quality of this game.
