Which of the 2 different Metroid labeled cartiges (the orginal '87 one and the bright yellow remake) is considered more rare?

the yellow labels.. just like the grey zelda's are more rare. though I always find the first runs more desirable.

Thanks, reason I asked was cause I found both label variations at Babagges today and it had me wondering.

It's not a horrible price, but not great. I'd be reluctant to spend more than $5 on Metroid. It's a great game, but there are so MANY of them out there.
It's in the "high price because of popularity" category in the land of the Funco stores. :D

The same thing happened to me; I walked-in to my local game store, (after receiving $30 in cash:)), and saw a yellow label Stating "Metroid". I later found-out about the "NES Classics" version of it on the online rarity guide. both versions of the game are great, but the yellow label version is more rare ;)

I've always wanted to find good boxed copies of the Yellow Label and European version Metroid games. Rarer, and look much better than the pixel-art original version. Bleh!
