Does anyone ever feel guilty when the look at how much room their collection takes up? I have a much more modest collection of games than a lot of people here, but sometimes I just want to sell everything I don't play because I hate it just sitting there. I can understand that some peope have a collection that they like to show off, so I can see having a collection for that reason, but that's not me. Anyone else ever feel like this?

Personally, I wish I had more stuff so I could take up more space. My collection isn't too big right now and I would love that have more stuff in it. It is fun to think about how little I used to have and see how much I have right now. But, even though some people might think I have a lot of video game stuff, when you look at Joe's collection, you feel like you don't have hardly anything.

Yes I feel very very guilty...
I started collecting video games properly this year.. I had a lot.. but now I have hundreds... 800 master system carts to name just one part of my collection
I've been trading on ebay, selling swaps, games im not interested in, but I've been having to sell others I would gladly keep, the thing is, I'm just 18 and its my parents house, but I've been buying far more then I've been selling..
I've filled my room with them... the spare room with them... the attic, and some of the study downstairs..
It's so bad, one of my sisters cant stop for christmas, because the spare room is literally jam packed with boxes of tapes, carts, boxed systems and the like...
I feel extremely guilty :o

All I know is when I move out my parents won't know what to do with the space that will be left with all the games being gone. I've got about 900, mostly situated in my room, with some more in the basement. And despite that lack of space, I still want, nay, NEED more.

I guess when I moved into the real world and had to consolidate my stuff from my parent's house and the stuff I had from college, I realized how much VG stuff I had, let alone saw and played. Lately I've been thinking of getting rid of my NES collection and going emulator all the way. I'd probably do the same with SNES stuff, but my DC won't run the games at full speed. I know about the questionable legality of this, but at the same time, these games aren't being made anymore, and I know there are people out there that love to collect the actual games. I don't know...I just think about when I move again in a year or two, and I don't want to move the same boxes of stuff that are still unopened from my last move...
