Budokan and Zany Golf have been flagged as "Genesis model I only". Are there others? Is it all of the early "cardboard box" EA titles?

i dont think populos {sp?} works with those
also is it true that virtua racing wont work in the model 3

Wardner won't work in my Genesis unless I run it through the Game Genie. My Genesis is a Model 1, 1991 Sonic The Hedgehog pack-in edition. Also, I can't get Funny World/ Baloon Boy to run AT ALL for some reason. Maybe I have a dead FW/BB?

I can attest from personal experience that Populous doesn't work on anything but a Model 1 Gennie. Also, Virtua Racing won't work on my gennie2 with the 32X attached, don't know if that is because of the 32X or because of the system model.

It's because of the 32X. I think it's because of a special chip inside to make the game better.
Also add Ishido to the list.

There are some games that won't work with the 6 button controller. Those are the games that won't work on the Nomad. Altered Beast is one of them I think. I tried playing it on the Gen2 and it didn't work so I plugged in a 3 button controller and it worked fine. Try it. Maybe thats the problem.

FW&BB is really finicky about using a 6-button. If you're having problems getting it too work, see if a 3-button helps.
My copy of Turrican won't work on a Genny 2. Maybe thats just mine though. I can confirm Populous only works on a Model 1. Not all older EA games are model 1 only, Battle Squadron for example, which is an older one if I remeber right, will work on my model 2.

Virtua Racing will not work with 32X, this is documented in 32X manual. Also it will not work on model 3 because model 3 lacks the Z-80 processor (this is also why PBC won't work either)
There's been a few report that some large games like Phantasy Star 4 doesn't save right or at all when using Genny 3.
