Same as Videogamerdaryll......

Was playing Doom 3 at a fever pace.....then I went and bought Lego Star Wars yesterday afternoon.

Anyone who dismisses this game as too "kiddie" to bother with deserves a lightsaber up the ass. The game is a howl and is incredibly well done (what do you expect...it's done by Traveller's Tales) and I have a feeling that it's going to take quite some time to uncover everything.

Go buy it!!!

XBX: Jade Empire. 17 hours in and it's awesome, but Bioware is known for greatness. The combat system is a bit hollow and the load times are as bad as they are in KotOR but still, wonderful title.

GBA: Columns Crown. If you get past the fact that the gems you win seem to be randomly saved or not; the survival mode is a lot of fun and is quite challenging. Good version of the best puzzle game ever.

GBA: Monopoly. I have a weakness for electronic Monopoly games. Sadly, this one really really sucks. Can anyone make a version of Monopoly as good as the NES version? Unlikely I guess. As it stands, the NES version is still the high water mark to get your parker brothers fix.

PSP: Did I say Columns was the best puzzle game ever? Well, it still is, but the presentation on this game makes it unforgetable. A pretty simple puzzle game wrapped in the most astounding package I've seen in a puzzle game. I can rock out to this game for hours and hours.

PSP: Tiger Woods PGA Tour. More Tiger. Portable. Quality. Need to get on Xlink Kai and see how it plays over their service. Or EA needs to figure out if these damn things are going to support infrastruture mode or not.

Arcade: Sinistar. He's made me cry.

Continuing on with Doom 3, since I think that I'm nearly finished. I prefer to play it in the mornings 'cos it gets your blood flowing and your awareness level up.

Then it's back to Lego Star Wars. I can hardly wait to see Maul and Vader in Lego form. I haven't laughed so much during a game in a long time. My 4 year old loves it too.

I must go and buy Jade Empire...but for now I can wait to start that epic.

One of my sons was playing Yugioh 2004 Tournament Edition GBA on the gameboy player for gamecube. His twin brother was in the other room playing Rachet & Clank 3 Up Your Arsenal.

I busted out Lord of the Rings Two Towers for Gamecube. I had bought this a while back for under $10 but never played it until tonight.

Tony Hawk's Underground 2(PSP)

This is actually pretty cool, playing a full 3D Tony Hawk game on a handheld system. :) Also it's my first play of the Underground series, I think it's a great game(and the classic mode is awesome). But I still think the king of all Tony Hawk games is THPS2(Dreamcast)

THPS2(Dreamcast)

Like I said above, it's the best in the series! IMO I'm still trying to get 100% with every character(this seems to take awhile lol)

Tekken 5(PS2) *Rental*

Ok, so it's really just like any other Tekken but with better graphics. It's still alot of fun though, tons of characters, fast paced music. And even faster fighting then before.

Not to mention the new "Tekken Force" mode is alot of fun and the original Tekken trilogy is a very nice bonus indeed.

I don't think I would pay $50 to buy it though.

Was there a Lego Star Wars for the original Playstation? I saw an example of one on G4's Cinematech but I was under the impression when I saw it that it was a PS1 game. I didn't look at it real closely, graphics-wise, just the credits made me think of that.

There's actually the possibility that, on my birthday, I could buy more than one game. I believe I'm currently averaging just one game purchase a month so far, so if I buy 2 games in May (or even 3), I'd still be on a pace to get less than the 20 games I set as the most games I would want to buy this year. Is Lego Star Wars a full-priced game?

I bought the Lego Star Wars game for PS2. It is definitely worth the $40 I paid. The kids and I have been taking turns playing it. We love the free play mode.

Anybody else have a hard time finding this game in stores (xbox or ps2)? Most of the common retailers such as walmart target, etc. didn't have any left where I live. I was able to find one however at a toys r us. Walmart had a few copies of the xbox version last week and no ps2, and today when I went they had none at all.

Yesteday I've played a short session of Champions Of Norrath after my training. I wasn't really successfull, I'm stuck in the Castle Of Clouds (don't know the real name of the place because I play the game in German) because my shield is too weak to guard me from some sort of daggers that get thrown at me. I died several times in a row at the exact the same place so I gave up and went to bed. Maybe I'll retry it tonight and buy a better shield at the shop.

Gran Turismo 4! The game is HUGE. I have a completion rate of 55%, and there is no end in sight. This time the rally races are tough (the car physics engine was significantly changed) , and the new driving missions at later stages are very close to my frustration level. TOUGH and TOUGHER.

I don't even wanna think about the endurance races. THREE 24hour endurance races? Geez luiz.

flatout is great, and hilariously gruesome with its rag doll physics in full effect as drivers go sailing through windows and down the road during wrecks. there's no blood at all, but it sure looks painful! you can also use this play mechanic to launch drivers in long jump, high jump, darts, and a few other arena activities- good times, LOL

The first of a great series, the graphics have aged pretty badly(mainly cause it's just a quick PS1 port). But the music and gameplay have held up pretty well. and I still think this is the second best THPS game of the whole series(THPS2 being the king).

Baseball Stars 2..I just throw the ball down the middle and let him hit..I hit two homers and he just started cramming in runs..

It seems he's more of a Shooter lover then Sports Games..
