Nascar Thunder 2004. Madden stinks.
Nascar Thunder 2004 had a complete overhaul. The addition of the Grudges/Alliances was great. the addition of a tutorial mode (Speedzone) helped some of my friends to stay only one lap behind me. Teh fantasy tracks included are also sweetness.

THUG, because it's still the best of all the numerous "extreme" games on the market and because it adds something new to the series in the way of customizability and replay value. And, on the PS2 at least, the ability to scan your own face into the game is a technical triumph.
So, why wasn't ESPN NFL 2K4 on the list? It's still better than Madden, in my opinion...

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. NHL Hitz 2003 I guess?? That's the only one I've played.
