Who is "Your Character"?

Everybody has their favorite game/series where they have their favorite character. The Character that if you could, you'd play as them in every game. Who is that character for you? Throw up some pics and a description, lik-a-so:

I've been playing as King since 1993, and yes I didn't always realize she was a woman. However, when I found out... I liked her even more. I've always had a thing for women in ties, coupled with the fact that when you know how to use her she's deadly as all hell and I've never looked back. I've been a woman's team user since 1994 for King of Fighters, and hell if there was a King-like character in Final Fantasy, I'd put her as my party's lead.


King = Goddess. Don't let anyone else sully your opinion by throwing around Nakoruru (*cough*RetroYoungen*cough*) or Athena (*cough*jaydubnb*cough*) :D

I was starting to wonder if that was really you, what with the avatar. Anyhow, yep folks, make no mistake -- King's the real thing, unlike that odd one from DoA 3 (Christie). I personally have never seen what was so interesting about Nakoruru, so I'm not about to get on that bandwagon.

Other than that...there are some really nifty characters in the Last Blade series (try just about every character -- with the exception of the utterly formulaic Kaede, Kagami, the Earthquake clone, and some of the others are a bit lukewarm). My personal favorites are surprisingly not women (!) but rather Amano (no doubt about it, biggest pimp in a fighting game ever) and Lee -- Setsuna is pretty close, and Kojiroh is interesting. I'm talking strictly from a sense of how I like the character, as opposed to how they fight, though.

[Solid Snake]

Well, since they haven't made a game where you play as Galvatron or Iron Maiden's Eddie, I can't post that.

Aside from those, Ken from Street Fighter, Richter Belmont from Dracula X: Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night, and, well, Solid Snake come in as my top choices.

Oh, and Grey Fox (in both Cyborg Ninja and non-ninja forms).

Wow... you want me to choose just one? Let's see... I'll give out honorable mentions right now. They go to the following, in no particular order: Michael Bison, Ryuji Yamazaki, Dan Hibiki, Terry Bogard, William F. Guile, Hanzo Hattori, Jedah, Setsuna, Cammy White, King (KoF, not Tekken :P ), Guy, Haohmaru, Rolento, Iori Yagami, Akuma, Amano Hyo, Rose, Geese Howard, Ibuki, K', Alex, Earthquake, Dudley, Ukyo Tachibana, Felicia... holy crap, the list goes on. These are my favorites above all else, but there are thousands more character designs that I'm quite fond of. Oh, and I know we're not just limited to fighting games, but I'm in a Capcom vs. SNK mood here.

Genjuro Kibigami

THE badass of Samurai Shodown, my favorite fighter on the Neo Geo. Rival to Haohmaru, he's just got so much concealed rage within him ready to burst wide open. His attacks, nay, his entire character is based around... Japanese Hanafuda playing cards. Sounds a bit silly, but watch the man in action, and it's just plain impressive. I almost always go for Genjuro in Samurai Shodown II, III, IV, and the only time I played V, I went with my main man here. Not only is he a friggin' powerhouse, and a real demon on the battlefield, but he's responsible for some of the most fecked-up SNKgrish I've ever seen. Before facing Mizuki in SSII, he warns, "You evil king. You should disappear." When Mizuki refuses, his infuriated response is, " I said you before, didn't I? Pass away!" LOL ROFL LOL ROFL LOL

Genjuro is immortal. Glad to see he made it in SNK vs. Capcom: Chaos. Also glad to see that he hasn't lost any of his personality or power in SSV. One more note: Doesn't he look a little like Knuckles the Echidna? You'll have to look closely, but it's there. ;)

Blanka...just regular old Blanka from the original SFII, no turbo...no Alpha MLVIIII Third Strike Electric Boogaloo version of Blanka...just Electricity, Head Bite, Horizontal Spin you lose Blanka.

I haven't played it much, but I thought he's available in Super Smash Bros. Melee. If not it's a shame, Toad is an underrated character.

You never have to hear cries of "recycled Athena sprite!" amongst the SNK fanboys, as the company loves her so much, they update her outfit every 5 minutes.

Placing in a dead ties is my other favorite character is the f'n MAN of Southtown (aka the most corrupt, cuttthroat, and violent city on Earth)...Terry Bogard (see sig). I used him in Fatal Fury 1 and have been hooked for a decade. His Garou version is his best yet, correct the one beef I had with him: His funny crouching kicks.

Coming in second is everyone's favorite badass, Solid Snake. If anyone doubts his badassedness, play MGS2. After using that tart Raiden, you'll bow before Snake's manhood -- I hope not literally.

I'm in the same mindset of Scooter. Blanka is actually my second most commonly used character, but as you can tell from over there on the left <------- Chun Li from SFII is where it's at. I know she's not the fastest or strongest, but she's got a mean kick and I've always had tremendous good fighting luck with her. She's just cool.

Though I still love Chun-Li, Capcom really jumped the shark with her when they gave her a fireball. Even after all of this time, it still feels out of place to me.

Capcom seemed to become enamored with Cammy when she was created and sort of left Chun-Li off to the side until the Alpha series. I would use Chun-Li almost exclusively until SSF2:T when I switched to Ken and his nasty jumping strong.

Actually, Eddie is playable in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4. Hes an unlockable guy.

My guy is definitely magneto. I think he is the coolest character, and the most bad ass. I always use him whenever i can in any fighting game.

Dude, King IS hot. Nakoruru is hot. Athena is hot. Blue Mary is hot. Sad thing is, there are TOO MANY hot chicks to just pick one!

Chun-Li, Mai, King, Nakoruru, Athena, Cammy, Mature, Vice (though not as hot as Mature), Sonya, Felicia...

My team is usually Nakoruru, King and Athena, so who needs to pick just one? 8-) :D

someday I'll learn Athena, but it took all my willpower to stick it out and learn Mai so I could play as any women's team member. I suck at picking up new fighters, and I just never learned Mai from the start :D

Athena is easy. Whore out her giant-size fireball, whore out her CD attack, and whore out her crouch fierce combo into whatever.

Also in KOF 2k2 whore out her pheonix arrow super. No recovery time.

My experience outside of Capcom fighting games is very little, I need to become more "diverse". :)
