I love those games. :D I have mastered 1 - 3, almost mastered 4 and once I get my hands on a copy of 5 I will have mastered the ENTIAR SERIES@!!``

Yeah they were all pretty good, but for some reason or another they seemed to be buggy as hell (I can't recall the number of times I got an error message and it crashed). I never got around to playing the fifth one though, was it any good?

Nope. T_T I have some of the soundtrack, however, but I wanna play it. T_T Looks amazing.

I found QG4 to be rather buggy =/ The rest I didn't have a problem with. ^^

Actually the only QFG I didn't have bug problems with was 2, probably because it was EGA and didn't use windows. QFG4 was the worst for bugs though followed by 3 (pre-patches that is).

I don't understand, though -- Hero's Quest (My mom bought it when it was called that XD!!) was also EGA... Maybe you had problems with the VGA remake of it~?

I find it does that a lot though. 3 I _never_ had problems with. Only 4. >_< It wouldn't freeze up, but something about hardware acceleration hates QfG4 so when you're in the castle, it like... you can't get out @_@

Yes I was talking about the VGA remake of QFG 1. Very nice looking, but riddled with bugs.

They are in the process of remaking Quest for Glory 2 in VGA splendour. I've played their KQ1 VGA remake and it was great. :) They seem to put a lot of work into it.

Fanbased games are fun... My mom used to work on the Hero6 project before she got busy with other things~

Yup, they're still working on it. I imagine most fan created games take quite a while, but Tierra has one thing going for it. At least they have finished one, so they will probably finish another.

5 was decent, a few cameos from previous characters. 3 or 4 was my favorite, bugs and all.

BUT! What characters did you people play with during the series? I've got my theif filed stored away on a 3.5 somewhere. A sneaky little devil with a bit of magic and pretty good at fighting too. :evil:
