Dreamcast not reading a disc?

All of a sudden my Dreamcast isn't reading my Virtua Tennis disc. It was working fine a few hours ago, but when I tried to play it I got the menu screen. I hit PLAY and it kept giving me the message about "please insert game disc" or was reading it as a music cd. My other DC games are working fine.

The Dreamcast is known for it's ability to suddenly not read a disc.
The most likely problem is a small smudge or scratch on the disc towards the center hole.
There is a 1/4 inch section there where the boot-up info is held, and if there is a small scratch or smudge the disc won't boot.
99% of the time this is fixed with a light buffing with some car wax.

I used a disc cleaner on VT, it worked! :D
