I personally haven't played the game, I've only seen some of it on TV, but it does look absolutely amazing.

I heard that this game is simply outstanding. Possibly game of the year material. I also heard that it is a short game, but that it is so damn good, that it doesn't matter that much.

My PC is very underpowered, in terms of playing the latest PC games, so I don't think I'll be trying this game out, until I get a new rig. Which probably won't be awhile.

I was curious if anybody here has played the game, and if it lives up to the huge hype?

Also if somebody has, what kind of PC do you need at the bare minimum to run this game half way decent?

Thanks.

The Singleplayer is absolutely stunning. Short, but an experience. I have a P3 1ghz, with half a gig of ram, and a 64 meg GeForce2 GTS. It ran perfectly.

Get it, you won't be disappointed.

Yep, it's an amazing game. Honestly I'm sick of WWII games on the PC, but this one is an exception. The AI is incredible and it's an intense but fun game. Battlefield 1942 has nothing on Call of Duty!

Call of Duty is from a group of artists, designers, and programmers that bailed EA's Medal of Honor franchise to do their own thang at Activision, which explains the high level of quality (and why MoH: Rising Sun sucks). Call of Duty also benefits from the amazing music of Michael Giacchino, original composer of the MoH franchise.

Yes it does rule. I have a athlon xp 1500 with a GF 3 64mb card. I can run with everything maxed at 1024x768. The Russian campaign is the best.
