First of all this is NOT a ten. It may be listed as a 10 in some places but a 10 shouldn't show up for sale 4-8 times a year.... every year.

In fact, you'll have an easier time finding Waterworld, Quadrun and Canyon Climber together before you'll see this cartridge again.

Yeah it doesn't get much more common than Canyon Climber. I see those everywhere.

Is that like a triple pack? One of those 3 in 1 carts?

I would say it is a 10, it doesn't show up nearly as often as Quadrun, Waterworld or Crazy Climber. When was the last time you saw MM on eBay ?

I have to agree, Music Machine is much rarer than any of the Atari 10's. That's one of thw quirk of the rarity list: 3rd party games is actually rarer than 1st party so no matter how rare any Atari game is, any 3rd party games will top that.

When was the last time you've seen Air Raid on eBay?

Definitely not quadrun (10), but I would say Crazy climber, music machine, and waterworld are all 9's. Waterworld MAYBE an 8.

Oh good God. It's NOT a 10.

A 10 you wouldn't see on eBay, and when you do, it's an EVENT.

Air Raid is a 10. Video Life is a 10... Music Machine is NOT a 10. I've had my hands on several of them and passed on several more over the years. Less than 2 years ago I bought one for $80. That's just NOT a 10. Sorry.

And none of those are as rare as Canyon Climber.

Sorry but its true.

When is the last time I saw Music Machine on Ebay?

A couple of months ago at most. And one month or two before that and one a month or two before that one, etc., etc., etc.

There have been many this year close to 8 if not more.

There weren't as many last year but there were at least 3 last year. I know because I bought three last year.

I also used to think Music Machine was one of the toughest as well but its not until you actually pursue these games that you realize which are truly rare.

At the rarest of the rare you have Video Life, Magicard, Eli's ladder these are the 10s. You only see these offered once every 2-3 years if that.

9's I would classifiy as Lockjaw and Quadrun and Music Machine. Those that are sold from once to several times a year.

Music machine isn't even the rarest of the 9s. I'd be more willing to classify Lockjaw a 10 than Music Machine.

I put Waterworld as an 8. Those offered 6-12 times a year.

I put Crazy Climber as a 7. Those offered once a month or more.

Over any small time period anything is possible these are the averages of these rare games over a time period of several years.

I'd say it's an 8.5, I see about one every three months or so.

Are you guys sure you are not seeing the same Music Machine over and over because people pay so much money for it that they regret it later and sell it ?

Adam,

I totally agree with you on the CC & WW deal, those pop up all the time but you would really say only three 10's exist ?

How much has a complete Quadrun fetched on eBay in the past? How often does it appear?

Are you including Air Raid? I think it is THE TOP CART. I have never seen one for sale. I have seen the other 3 (I think) on E-Bay.

Yes Air Raid is also a 10

I never said there were only 3 just that those three I named were 10s.

Ever see that game on seasame street.

Which one of these things is not like the others. Which one of these things all alone. Can you guess which cart is doing its own thing. before my song is done........

Air Raid
Video Life
Eli's Ladder
Music Machine
Magicard

How could anyone include Music Machine with other 4 ? Every one of these sells for over a grand with the exception of Music Machine which sells for $200-$300.
