Can anybody give me a link telling me how to mod a Snes?

Since I'm getting a super famicom game from Maxlords and I want to mod my snes so I play this and hopefully many more super famicom games.If the link had pictures then would be better because I don't want to get a new snes.

Open the cart flap with your hand and you'll see where the circuit board of the cart will go. Just either side of the slot you'll see two plastic protrusions about the same height on the back wall of the hole. This is the only thing preventing you from inserting your Super Famicom game as US carts have slots in them to fit these plastic "stoppers".

So quite simply get out something hot (preferably a soldering iron) and burn/twist them off using pliers etc. Took me about 5 minutes as the plastic is quite tough there. Once done, you're all ready to enjoy Japanese games :)

Does this allow Australian and European games to work on a US SNES as well? Or do you still need a converter for those?

You need a convertor as the security chip is different.
