does anyone know if it's possible to play japanese saturn games on a us saturn with the 8mb memory card pluged into it? I know you can do it with the 4mb memory card, but i'm having a hard time finding one of those, and the sega 8mb ones are readily available on ebay for a decent price. also does anyone know a good online import store that has older games? I used to know a bunch, but most of them have gone by the wayside. any info would he helpfull, thanks, and happy holidays:)

I haven't heard of an 8mb memory card which has import functions, so to my knowledge - no, you can't. You could mod your saturn, which is extremely easy and cheap to do. http://www.gamesx.com/ has instructions. You just need a soldering iron, some wire, and a switch. You can easily uninstall the mod later if you so desire. I've found that ebay is usually cheaper than online stores...however www.wolfgames.com has a pretty good selection for decent prices, I've done business with him and he is reliable and quick.

Hope that helps.

Right now, Ebay prices for Saturn games are liveable. Some of those sellers also have shops as well that you can buy direct from. Just be careful -- you should know the going rate before buying anything, as some people still think that the import gravy-train is around, which it's most definitely not.
