The topic line is taken directly from the auction, but I lowered the case on most of the words :P
Does this fellow's 300 game collection rival the best? Maybe not, but check out those pics:

I'd say it's worth more than what he's getting right now...double $500 at least, by eBay prices ($5 a game average would get you to $1,500; a big eBay seller could snap this up and make a killing on most of the stuff)

I would spend 200 tops. I got most of my games and accesories for really cheap or for free from friends so I woundlnt pay too much for this.

The magazine collection is just plain cool looking. Its actually not that big of a collection, but it looks nice.

Quantity doesn't equal quality. He has a buch of games here but there's nothing really special anywhere in the lot. At least nothing that makes me want to pay more than maybe $200

The only thing that really stood out as nice from that auction was the magazines. I would love to have all those old Nintendo Powers. I only have 1 old one, the Super Mario Bros. 3 guide issue. Having the rest of those would be nice, but for the other stuff, nothing too great. That t-shirt is also a plus.

Thats way too much for that auction and I got all those magazine except for the final fantasy 6 guide for $50 (in two lots) plus a lot of other old gaming magazines.

For the Life of me I can never figure out why these people sell these massive collections as one. You'd lose Hundreds of dollars on it. I'd at least sell each system separately with All it's own games, etc but not as one super lot.

Add $96 for shipping! That is what it quotes for me.

As boochan said, he should have definitely split it up into multiple lots. I like the t-shirt though.
