I'm sure this will be a topic everyone will post on, and since I didn't see in here yet, I'll kick it off...

We always open up our presents on Christmas Eve... this being that day, I'm proud to report that my wife got me 2 very cool video game related presents... a Gamecube... and an Xbox! :) The Gamecube was the used one they were selling at Gamestop with Super Smash Brothers packed in.. but who cares :) I'm finally in the somewhat modern age of gaming! (most recent other console was the Dreamcast... a few months before it ceased production *sigh*)

Other stuff include clothes, a wireless card for my iBook, some books, candy and other things...

A couple of cat books from a Secret Santa exchange on another board

Two items from a lady in England on a mailing list I'm on. I will leave them packaged until tomorrow but I believe (from the form she had to fill out) that one's a mouse pad for me (with a cat?) and the other's a toy or two for my cats.

And my brother will have a little something for me tomorrow.

Yeah, my family all decided to take the easy way out. That's okay, I guess, bet what I really want is one of those gifts that you'rew not expecting, but you treasure it for a long time. I haven't gotten one of those in years. They could keep all the money, if they could think of something to get me for, like, $5 or so that people would comment on and I could say "it was a gift".

Well the main things I bought I "myself" for Christmas were.

The Candy Cab,the Unio Bios 4 slot board,Rage of the Dragons & Real Bout FF..
+ all the other stuff like the STV boards games/1 slot/Hyper 64s etc..

Getting the new (correct) power supply for the big red and getting it back up and running was really the best present.

I get games,she gets Coca Cola stuff.

Out of everything today..The Coolest thing was The Mini Electric old time looking Indian Motorcycle my mom bought my son..

German Book "Subversion zur Prime-Time", the book features 12 different analizations (damn, this word doesn't look right @_@ ) of the simpsons series, a complete episode guide and an extra chapter about Futurama, very good stuff and the right thing for me :)

I got a package from Joe last week, but held onto it so I could open it on Christmas morning. I'm glad I did... most of my gifts this year were in the form of money, and this was the only package I got to tear open.

Anyway, there was a wide variety of video game related items in Joe's gift box, including:

* A game piece from a Wizards of the Coast collectable figure game (possibly a spinoff of the card game Magic: The Gathering?)
* A really spiffy watch commemorating this year's World Series, packaged in a silver tin
* The first issue of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a comic based on the new cartoon series (good stuff, and it could be a valuable collector's item later!)
* A Grand Theft Auto: Vice City decal, good for sticking on the window of a car before you steal it and run over a hooker
* This year's Tips & Tricks codebook, filled with handy codes for today's systems as well as easter eggs for the Saturn and Nintendo 64
* A Final Fantasy XI On-Line mousepad
* The demo version of Rogue Strike: Rogue Squadron III (for the GameCube). The best part of this disc is that it includes the arcade version of the original Star Wars as a bonus! How cool is that?!

Army of Darkness. The Boomstick Edition. A special gift... given to me... by my brother, one of the overall greatest human beings I know of. *sniff* (Cue "aaaaawwwwww" from studio audience.) All in all, an excellent Christmas. Oh, and $300 from my grandfather, bless him. I hope you also all had as great a holiday as I did. :)

I do regret not participating in the Secret Santa trade... but it's just that money's tight for me most of the time... well, not now, anyway. There's always next year. Merry Christmas to all. :D

Also got: a Home Depot gift card, a Sears gift card, and a zip-up hood (no coat required) for that big balding head of mine.

Mrs. PDF made out like a bandit - she was getting gifts from her postal customers like you wouldn't believe. I also got her seasons 1-4 of Stargate SG-1 on DVD, Seabiscuit widescreen, a couple of CDs and books, and some warm stuff to wear. :)

Kill Em All is my favorite album by them. Its so freaking classic. :rocker:

I only got a few things, like a few gift certificates, some cash, and thankfully, I finally own a physical Othello board. I love playing Othello (I prefer to call it Reversi, but the box says otherwise), and now I can play a game with an actual person. Played three games, and I ended up 2-1. So I've gotten nothing game-related yet (but I haven't exchanged gifts with my dad yet, so I could still get somethin').

I didn't get anything gaming related myself, I got a Winmau Blade II dart board, thats the only thing I asked for.

For my son though, I got him a Gameboy Advance SP, with the new Mario Luigi SAga game. For the XBOX I got him Rayman 3. For his room I bought him a 20 inch TV, he will soon have a couple of systems hooked up in his room now.

Kinda yeah, kinda no. I've been getting HK stuff since I was a little girl, but now that there are Sanrio stores all over in the US I get lots of little trinkets and kitchen supplies (toaster, waffle maker, tea set, bowls, etc.) I'm kinda bummed I missed the rice maker though.

This wasn't a Secret Santa present. Joe just sent this package to me out of the blue, without requesting anything in return. In fact, it was supposed to reach me well before Christmas, but due to my recent change of address it came back to him and he had to send it all over again. It worked out pretty well, though... I wanted a gift to open on Christmas and I got one.
