Hey All

I Have a Regular Commodore 1081 Monitor, which Resides next to my main TV. I get a weird pictures (Multi Colored Letters) on the Monitor, but near perfect on the TV. However, I seem to think the problem goes with the cables, as It's still shoddy for AV inputs. Anyone give any suggestions..?

As far as I can tell, the 1081 is specifically intended to be used with an Amiga. This means it's probably an analog RGB monitor. The C-128 puts out a digital RGB signal, which is completely incompatible with analog RGB monitors (I found this out the hard way when trying to connect a Jaguar to a digital RGB monitor and failed miserably). You should still be able to do composite fine, but you'll be stuck in 40 column mode all the time.

The ideal monitor for the C-128 is Commodore's 1902 monitor... it was built specifically for the C-128, but you'll probably have a hard time finding it.
