Wild Choppers for N64 question

I picked up a game called "Wild Choppers" at a video store last night. It's by Seta and all the text on the box, cart and in the game is japanese. The voice overs are all in english though.

I didn't see it on the DP N64 list. Is it the same game as Chopper Attack?

If it's an import why does it work on my N64?

anyone know the story on this one?

It'll work on your N64 because the Japanese carts use the same lockout chip as the US ones. Only the design of the cart shell is slightly different...

I didn't look that closely but the cart shell looked to be the same as the US version.

still kind of odd to find it in a chain rental store (Family Video)
