If you were to construct a video game holiday

If you were to construct a video game holiday, what and when would it be? For me, I would make a video game Memorial Day and I would have it on Sept 9th...in memory of the Dreamcast lanuch day. I would play old video game systems in memory of what they contributed to the gaming industry. Any other ideas or dates?

I remember reading in an old nintendo power magazine that somewhere a mayor declared a Nintendo Day for his town.

Actually I don't care for the Mortal Kombat series, but Mortal Monday was a terribly effective marketing ploy on lots of us who were of age to be duped by it during that period. What day was Mortal Monday, anyways?
