I just got and arcade cab for christmas and i want to find out if its a jamma cab or not. The game is Street Fighter II: Championship Edition. If anyone knows or can help me find out if this is a jamma cab or not, i'd really appreciate it. i'm dying to be able to switch the games in it :D.

It's Jamma, on the CPS1 system to be exact.

Yep, Jamma plus. One little trick I figured out about the SF2 extra button harness.. If you plug it in just right (a couple pins off), it will work perfectly with Killer Instinct. I'd have to pull my boards to see exactly how it works out, but it does work. Let me know if you want the details. Might also be close to the MK3/MK4 harness.. I seem to remember those being the same as KI, but I may be thinking of something else.

You can also buy new harnesses from a hack job on ebay for less than $10.00.

I would trust Butta over me any day on fighting game specs, but I thought it was just a jamma plus board?

Your best bet is to just find a manual for the PCB, each one differs, and they almost all include how to convert instructions (from what I've seen)

I'm working on a DVD full of Arcade&Monitor manuals and schematics (4 GB FULL) that should be ready to sell within this week, but you can find most of them online too if you look hard enough.

I wouldn't trust me. I'm just a huge fan of fighting games, thus I like to have them in their original format so I can play the way it's intended to be played.

I don't know much about the technical side of things.
