What did you pay for your game & watches?

Hi,

I've been wanting to expand my G&W collection and I was wondering what some of you payed for their game & watches; i found the prices in the g&w rarity list to be a little steep considering what i payed so far, but then again, i'm in Europe so maybe it differs.

So far i have:

Donkey Kong (boxed w. manual)
Donkey Kong II (boxed w. manual)

Both of these were purchased new when i was a kid ;)

Green House - 10$
Goldcliff - 15$
Bombsweeper - 15$

All g&w's have their original battery covers and serial numbers.
Basically i guess what i'm asking is what you consider to be the maximum price for a common g&w on eBay, knowing you aren't getting ripped off.
Especially some feedback from European members would be interesting to me (i've seen prices vary bigtime between EU countries on eBay for some reason).

I don't remember exactly but I believe it was 25-35 bucks each for my game and watches in the early 80's. But these days it seems like these suckers go for so much! ($70+) which really doesn't make sense to me since I think they are probably one of the most COMMON handheld items around. I mean they were released worldwide almost everywhere. You couldn't go to any clock, electronic, or 2-bit stereo shop and not come across them. And their frequency on Ebay proves it. But the price doesn't seem to match :?

:) Last night I was playing a few Game & Watch games..I haven't played them in quite awhile..(dust them off)


I've paid between $5.00-$100.00 for various G & W handhelds and tabletops that I bought..
The Tan Dk Jr.on this table cost me $85.00 from the Netherlands without shipping..

These stay on at all times,there is always movement on screen....they are alarm/clocks too...

Before I got into Arcade stuff + the Neo Geo etc..I was collecting handhelds/tabletops like crazy....
I may buy only one every two months now..being into the Neo Geo can really put a hurting on your wallet.. x_x
