Did the Adam versions of DK and DKjr have different graphics and gameplay than the emulated versions of SuperDK and SuperDKjr? I remember playing the Adam DK years ago and thought that it was a much closer version to the arcade than any other version with DK throwing the barrels and DK being on the correct side at the top of the screen, along with ALL the intermissions. Am I just being delusional? I have searched hi and low for more info and screenshots and can't seem to get the Adam emulators to work correctly. Can anyone help me out?

I tried out Super Donkey Kong Junior some time ago, and found it to be quite nice. Intermissions, animations, the "Mario's Hideout" level... It's all there. I never did try Super DK, though; I doubt Donkey Kong is on the correct side of the screen, as the TV screen just isn't the right size and all of the graphics would have had to be redone.

What problems have you had with AdamEm? There's a frontend (AdamEmAm) available if the command line options are too confusing.

Just FYI the ROMS we have on the ColecoVision emulation area of this website ARE, in fact, the ADAM versions. The ADAM games had been converted to cartridge format years ago, these ROMS represent that effort. So you can play them on a ColecoVision emulator if you'd like.

Really? What about Buck Rodgers?

I know there was a broken version of Donkey Kong for the ColecoVision going around that had the animations and the "mudpies" level; the collision detection for the mudpies level wasn't finished, though.
