Today I got a mint Super Mario Bros. 3 Challenge Set version, the not for resale version.

What's messed up about it, is that there is this big sticker on it, that says "Challenge Set" over and over with "Included With Challenge Set Not For Resale" on it as well.

The box, instruction booklet, cart, everything is in mint condition, except for the fact that this damn sticker is on it.

I tried to peel it off, but I quickly discovered that if I tried to do that, the box would peel of with it.

I guess it's not that big of a deal since even a mint SMB3 cart with the box and everything isn't worth all that much.

The ironic thing is that the box with the sticker on it is probably more uncommon than without.

Agreed. If you don't want the box, I will gladly buy it off of you. I've been looking for one of those boxes for quite some time.

Yea I need one of those boxes as well, I had like 3 at one point and than I picked up a super mario bros 3 action set and it came with mario 3 unboxed :-(

Also, by the way, the cart itself looks like it has never been played. The contacts appear brand new. And the Manual and all the stuff that come in the box appear to have never been touched.

It's almost like they took a little knife, and sliced open the seam to be able to open the box, but then never did open it. Or never got around to playing it or something.
