Although Mega man is not considered a rare game based on production it is a game that comands $$ because of its Popularity. Therefore although it may not be rare it still stands out as a game that is worth more then others.

Well you have a total of 8 feedback and all 8 are for buying , not a one for selling. I'm sure you are on the up and up but I get a bit worried when someone new comes in and attempts to unload a bunch of stuff right off the bat.

I'd suggest selling one group at a time. When the buyer gets it he can report his experience to us and if everything works out ok you should get a few more willing buyers with each sale.

If you offered COD or a private auction via ebay, things that may re-assure trepedacious buyers. Not saying you aren't on the up and up, but we don't want anyone to be burned.

well I was planning on keeping my mouth shut. But without grinding all the details, I think you're asking too much for some of this stuff. A $600 Xbox package? :hmm: you're going to have to split everything up if you ever want to get anything near those kind of figures. and your auction for $1700 that didn't meat the reserve is going to be the highest figure you would get out of a lot like that. That being said, I hope things work out with getting all of your stuff sold, and that you can complete good deals and the whole bit with the current forum members. I just thought you should have some honest feedback...if somebody didn't already mention it....

For individual offers how are you gonna determine prices (unless you get an offer)? Most of us here go by DP Guide standards except in rarer cases. If you do need help pricing some items all you gotta do is ask.

You know what kaine? he had prices on his stuff, he knew what he wanted. Even though it's a lot of money to blow on some one who's new to the forum, he was "badgered" into possibly selling individual items, and now you want individual prices. Kaine, you have a DP guide I know, so why not start off and offer him the price for it?

He knew the price he wanted for the lots and now maybe doesn't know so much for individual pieces. It's not fair to have him break the lots, then ask "how much do you want for this?" Why is it difficult for people to understand about making an offer. You put in a price, hit the PM button and if the seller doesn't like, they will most likely reply about it.

As for "rare" maybe the games weren't rare, uncommon? maybe. popular? yes. Which explains why you had to do some searching and pay a higher price than other carts. Some people will pay those high prices, some people won't. It's hard to know the audience when you're new to a forum, so don't worry about it ;)

So why do we feel the need to badger new sellers? I can understand about the feedback thing. But to low ball a seller until they lower their prices, leave, or are forced to break up lots.

I think, the only question I had, was that he was a new member, then suddenly selling lots of stuff. That sets of a warning bell to alot of people. If he doesn't want to sell individual items, or lower prices, doesn't matter to me, as I am not interested in the items. I think he should be free to ask whatever he wants for them, and its up to us if we want to pay. I understand why he wants to sell items in lots as its easier than being stuck with the less valuable items, but you have to understand a few things as a seller here. Mos tof us are cheap buyers, and we make no bones about it. If something is valuable, or rare, we will pay good money, but when you come in selling run of the mill items at or close to retail most people won't bite, and that doesn't go just here it goes at alot of sites.

BUt if you want people to think you ar eon the up and up you need to give people reasons to believe. Photos are one thing, anyone can grab photos. But like I said, do cod, or a private auction on ebay. Take paypal and offer buyer protection. Using a buyer with a hotmail adress isn't helping either.

And I am sorry if this may make you feel like taking any future sales somewhere else, but we are protective here.

If YOU think the prices are too high, DON'T BUY IT.
If YOU don't think you can trust a new seller, DON'T BUY IT.
And for heaven's sake, when someone sets the terms of their sale in their posts, READ THEM AND HONOR THEM. Don't tell them what they should be doing differently. God, it's just like people on eBay, that bid and then say, "Oh, well I don't wanna do things they way you said you wanted to do them in YOUR auction. Do it my way."
