Gameboy Advance Afterburner

I'm thinking about getting and afterburner for my GBA cause I'm too cheap to buy an SP, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them? Also, how hard are they to install? I'm not very technical savvy when it comes to electroincs repair/modification, could an idiot such as myself do it? If it is difficult to install, does anyone know a reputable place whenre i can send my GBA to get it done?
