I finally got my very own test cart for the NES, and would like to buy/make something nice to display it. Something similar to the way baseball cards are displayed.

Has anyone done something like this? Any pictures you'd care to share?

What about other ideas on how to display it as a focal point of a huge collection??

I stick my rares in a shoebox stashed in my one dresser drawer next to some Famicom carts. Not too great display wise, but it keeps the stuff preserved I guess.

I have some good shots of my collection/setup coming soon. Prolly Friday or Saturday.

In a cardboard box full of old car parts and porno mags.

My Sega Master System rares on the other hand have their own museum, complete with hefty admission price.

In a folder marked GoodNES.

[This was my 100th post on my 1-year anniversary on these boards. This means absolutely nothing]

depends what kind of cart it is. if its a rare production cart like stadium events i would just stick it in with the rest of my nes carts in the s section. protos i keep lined up in a dresser drawer not on display. and i would put any test carts on display with the rest of the nes carts since it has an end label.

That's why I've got the cleanest carts in the land.

I, for the most part, store all NES games equally, in stacks of about 5, in freezer ziplock bags, in a container, so no dust gets to them.

But if I ever aquired something along the lines of say, Stadium Events, it would most likely go in my safe.

I put my general retail carts on my normal shelves, but put my protos/dev hardware on a shelf in my closet as to prevent fading and other such things that could happen ;) I can open up the doors to show people, but generally, don't have them out in the open as to keep them in better shape.

EDIT: I was just reading some more above and someone mentioned a safe. I originally had times when I got a "rare" item and put it in super protective casing and such. However, as I got older and began getting more rare stuff, stuff that's really rare, I ended up taking some of the old stuff out of the cases and putting them back with the normal carts, placing the new stuff in the cases. heh. What about you guys?
