I have to ship a MAME cabinet I built from Albuquerque to San Diego. Does anybody here have experience with shipping arcade cabinets long distances? Just trying to get a feel for what's involved. Some related questions:
1) Does anyone know of a reputable national shipping company who might specialize in this type of thing?
2) Should I build my own crate or eat the fee for the shippers to do it?
3) If I build my own, what would be a recommended packing material, if any? (Seems like this would involve a hell of a lot of styrofoam peanuts...)
4) Approximate cost? I'm guessing $150 to $200: 850 miles and assumingf I pay a crating fee..
