Just got back from my local Toys R Us, and they are blowing out all of their Dreamcast VMU's for $0.98 and controllers for $1.98. Don't know if this sale is going on at ALL TRU's, but it's worth it to get your ass down there and find out.

Unfortunately, most of the good DC games are still marked at $15-$20 though. Looks like I'll have to wait even longer to get that D2 and Gigawing.

This sale has been going on for a while... if yours had any N64 or GBC games, they would have been marked down A LOT too. I just wish that my TRU had any OFFICIAL accessories left (Only crappy humongous 3rd-party things).

I already stocked up the last time the price dropped, but I might have to make a return trip. Thanks for the info.

On the same note, and if you don't mind used stuff, GameStop has most of their Dreamcast accessories marked in the $1 to $8 range.

Last time I was there, I picked up a Sega VMU for $2 and a Sega Jump Pack for $1. @_@

Also, I noticed that one of the local Wal-Marts still has a big stack of DC games in its main lock-up by the counter -- but sadly, I didn't have the time to look closely at the titles. A return trip is probably inevitable...

The EB Games closest to me is selling D2 for $5 (pre-owned). Is it a good game?

On a side note, does anybody know if this sale applies to Canadian TRUs, and/or what date it goes until.

For Canuck gamers: TRU has pulled out all of their Dreamcast games and accessories from Canadian stores. I called today and found out.

I went to 3 different TRUs and only 2 had any DC accessories at all. I did pick up a Game Shark Lite (thanks Achika!) and memory cards for the DC. Also got an FM radio thingy for the Game Boy Color and 2 NGPCs. I was shocked to see 40 Sonic pack and 20 clear NGPCs at one store. I have not seen that many in one place since it died. :(

And how much are the NGPC?

They were ~$17.99. I know this because TRU was clearing theirs out online, and the stores ended up with those prices. I wish that the one I went to today had anything other than a humongous 3rd-party DC controller and some overpriced games

i just hit up a TRU near me... they had memory cards, a bunch of overpriced games, and no controllers. the VMU's weren't $0.98 tho... they were $2.49. i picked up two because i need them pretty badly... they only had green and blue tho, which i wasn't too happy about. oh well

Yep, $17.99 for the clear and $24.99 for the Sonic pack in model.

I got 4 VMU's yesterday for .90 each. I returned the one I bought for $2.48 last week. When I went back today, the guy behind the counter claimed that he couldn't get the rest to ring up for the .90 price...

out of curiosity, what color were the $0.98, and which were the $2.48? the two that i bought at $2.48 were blue... but they had a fuck ton of green ones that i passed up, figuring they'd all be the same price
