Alright, for those of you that have, or have played Pac Man Vs., what are your thoughts on it? I think it's pretty damn fun, and a neat twist on an old favorite, but I highly doubt I would think the same had it been $50 by itself. As it stands I think it's a fantastic pack-in to an above-average game (Pac Man World 2) and thus is a great deal. My only complaint is all the damned crossed cords from passing the GBA back and forth! Also, a question: is it still being offered as a pack-in with I-Ninja and R: Racing Revolution? I've seen the I-Ninja box, but it made no mention of Pac Man Vs. being included, and I have yet to see R: Racing Revolution come in for the Gamecube. Either way, it's nice to have a game I can play with my dad.
Any other players out there who enjoy this game?

I was pretty surprised to find out how fun it is. The press dismissed it as a "connectivity" gimmick thant was just a coverup for Nintendo's lack of an online stategy, but it turned out good.

I'm not sure about R:RE, but I think the I-Ninja deal was that you only got Pac-Man Vs. if you pre-ordered I-Ninja... in which case, you didn't get a DVD case for it (instead, you just got it in a small envelope.
I heard that some people had luck just going up to the clerks at stores like EB and were able to get it for free, since the clerks didn't really know what was supposed to happen to them (and I don't imagine all that many people pre-ordered I-Ninja anyways). Haven't tried this myself though.

I love Pacman VS, its my favorite Gamecube Multiplayer game! Though, I hardly get to play it b/c my friends and girlfriend arnt into gaming all that much, god bless 12 year old younger brothers though. My only complaint with the game is the low score limit thus ending the game. I know that you can start over and over again, but I wanna keepo the score tallied! I higher score limit, a setable score limit and a highscore save feature would have been a very nice and easy to do addition to the package.
I got mine with Pacman World 2, Ive seen it as a pack-in with R:RE & you got it in the small sleeve as an I-ninja pre order. I asked the clerks at EB in Rocafellar center for details on how to get the game for at least a month prior to its release and they had no idea. This really ticked me off, dam EB, get on the ball! If I was still working an an EB, I would have shaped that place up!

I can't wait to play this. Believe it or not, it's this little "bonus game" that finally tipped me over in favor of one of the current generation consoles - two, really, as I've acquired a GBA and hope to snag a 'Cube within the next month. All to play this game. I guess I have to admit it - I love Pac-Man that much.

Hey Earl, there's lots to love about the 'Cube! Do yourself a favor and snatch up Mario Kart: Double Dash!! It's the most fun I've had with a game since I don't know when. I live for games like that!

Just get three wavebirds, and problem solved :D
I actually bought R: evolution for Pac Man Vs. and I've yet to play either. My roomates played Pac Man Vs. while I was gone (for which I chewed them out), and one of my roomates has been playing R: evolution since I got it. I do enjoy the ridge racer games, but this time, I just got it for Pac Man Vs.
I did get to play it at E3 this year, and I loved it.

I like it the game, but I find a serious problem finding friends that are willing to play it. Im willing to play something retro, but a lot of my "casual gamer" friends are as enthusiastic as myself. Also, the music is just god-aweful. Need to turn on some tunes for this one. Other than that, great idea, well executed.

I don't have a GBA anymore, so I can't play it. In fact, I have 5 copies of 'em just sitting here :\ Didn't realize I'd need a GBA to play it.

I tried it with my group and out of those that played one guy liked it and the other guy didn't like the GBA. The only real beef I had was that I couldn't use the 3rd party light I bought for it (cable blocks it from locking onto the GBA) and the game kept "loosing connection" with the GBA (I am using a 3rd party cable as well).
I thought it was cute and fun but only in short bursts. It gets a little long in the tooth after a while.

What? I Love the music! some of it is ripped from Pac-Mania, some of it is remixed version of pacmania music and alot of the sfx have been taken from Pac Man Collection on GBA. The music is great!
Its just that damned point limit that sucks.

Pacman Vs, as said, is a pack-in (2 discs in the box) with R:RE and you got it as a pre-order bonus separately with I-Ninja. I love it, great fun to play with 4 people especially if you've got enough Wavebirds :)
