Hi,
I don't know if this is possible but I have heard of it before?
You go on a holiday to Japan, and you buy lots of videogame stuff while you are there, and then you come back to your country, and sell it all, and you pay for the cost of the trip and then some?
Has anyone heard of this before? and what are the legalities of this?
Thank you

Legal, difficult, and expensive. People have this idea that Japan is like the mecca of rare games for nothing. It's just not so. Sure you can get great deals, but it's like the US. Some stuff is great, some is priced normal, some is more. You'll stil lhave to go hunting fro cheap games, and the language barrier doesn't help a lot. Not to mention the expensive of hauling stuff home....not cheap at all...anything you can't fit on your bag...forget it, cause shipping is NOT cheap.

Yeah, like $12 for one jewel cased game via EMS. You can only ship air mail up to a certain weight, then you need to choose EMS or surface. If you want to see them in the near future, don't ship surface!

Believe me, I've lived here for 6 years.... you'lll never pay for a trip with games. Teleophone cards, maybe, if you can sell enough, which I doubt anyone can sell at a profit.
If you had an empty suitcase, 3 years ago you could've done it. Those were the salad days when
1) Japanese economy was good, and Akihabara wasn't asking a fotune.
2) Everyone and their dog in Japan wasn't selling on Ebay
Even to an extent then, and mainly now, you should take orders BEFORE hand, charge a 20% handling fee, and probably make enough money to buy yourself more than a few used games.
