Well, I just got back from the holidays, and saw the folks. While down there I was digging through some stuff, on request from my folks, as I had to leave a good deal of stuff down at the house. While going through everything I found some old stuff. In the pre-DP days I would have tossed them into a garbage can without a second thought, but I decided to bring it back with me and just see if anyone here wants it. ;)

The most interesting thing is a VHS tape. I can't find any info on it so I don't know how rare it is or what it might be worth.

Secret Video Game Tricks, Codes, and Strategies -- A Videocassette on Nintendo's Compatible Games, Volume 1. 22 NES games are covered by members of the US National Video Game Team. They show each game (a combo of showing the games being played and game feed itself) and talk about hints, codes, strategies, or what not with that game. Produced by MPI Home Video. Model Number MP 1673. 60 minutes long. Copyright 1989. Tape still plays in great shape. Case has some wear on the corners.

I also found --
NES Adventage Instruction Book
Nintendo 64 Instruction Book
Super NES Consumer Information Book
All of those are in perfect condition (slight upward bend on the N64 book, now that I look again.)

TWO SEALED Virgin PC Demo CD's -- games featured are the 11th Hour, Heart of Darkness, Lands of Lore II, and Toonstruck, plus 15 other games. There's no date, but based on when these games came out I would estimate circa 1993.

If anyone is interested in this stuff, just reply here or send me a PM. I'll let the instruction books and the CD's go for just shipping. I'll sell the tape also but as I said I don't know anything about it (so any info anyone can put here would be great).

Finally, there was a auction recently on EBay -- I wish I could find the link -- for a NES Trunk that was made about 1990 and has charcter art from Mario and Zelda games on all the sides. My parents bought one for me back in the day and they'd like to sell it since it's taking up space. I'm the one with the EBay account, however, and the trunk is 1500 miles away. The case is in great shape, but the Mario artwork on the top is a little damaged in places. Based on that previous auction I think the trunk is worth about $40-50. If anyone is interested in it, I'll have my parents snap a couple shots of it with a digital camera and put the pics up. You'd pay me and give me your addy and I'll send that on to my folks in TN who will mail it. (My parents don't recall exactly when, where, and how much they got the trunk for, but the EBay auction I saw said 1990 in K-Mart for $10.)

I'll leave this up for a couple weeks before I trash this stuff. ;)

Thanks!

Would the video happen to be this? (http://www.seanbaby.com/nes/video.htm)

No, mine is not THAT one -- but it's very close! Mine covers 22 games and runs 60 minutes, and has a different cover. The article mentions there were THREE tapes made, so I guess I have the first one. A lot of what the article said is right ON, though. LOL The tape is only a little usefull, but hey, I figure some NES collector out there may want it. :P

I tossed this into B&S to attract more attention. :)

While we're at it, would it be possible that anyone would have use for a dance mat that doesn't work? :)
