FINALLY- a ray of hope!

I got Midway Arcade Treasures for Xmas, & last Mon night my wife & I were sitting around & I suggested she try KLAX. It didnt go over too well; although the controls are very easy, I think she had some trouble w/ its perspective.
So, I thought maybe she'll like Tapper. I loaded it up & demonstrated a bit, then handed her the DualShock2.

Oh- my- God.

My wife is a total non-gamer but somehow, this game was meant for her or vice-versa! For over 1/2 an hour she served root beer & caught empty mugs. I was totally floored. She managed to fill up the whole hi-score screen, even knocking me off! I just couldnt believe it!

Just goes to show there's still hope, & it can come where/when you least expect.

Now to get her in on some good ol' fashioned 2-player Gauntlet action...

My grandma is the same. She doesnt even know what an X-box is. But put her infront of a Ms. Pac-Man machine and she will destroy anyone. :evil:

i picked up midway arcade treasures on the cube, and must say, it kicks total ass. tapper is always quality, but i've been playing a lot of rampart lately... it's mostly been tearing me a new asshole, but damn is it satisfying when i accomplish anything in it... heh.
