Anyone ever seen this site before?

They've got some neat Mark III commercials, as well as others.

Those are cool but it doesn't have the one set of commercials I have been looking for ... The Legend of Zelda on the N.E.S. I have been searching the net but can't find them. Does anyone have a link to them?

I always been a pro-NES and SNES but you gotta to give this to Sega. They did the must funniest and coolest commercial. Especially during the 16 bits war.

There's another place called Nintelligent (http://www.nintelligent.net/) that has some ads (some taken from Gaming Age it looks like) but you have to create a free login to get at them.

Enjoy. [/url]

Someone linked to that long Mega CD commercial a while ago. That was kind of nifty... until it started trying to make the likes of Sewer Shark and Kris Kross Make My Video look cool.

Did anyone else see the extended version of Nintendo's "Give the World a Wedgie: Play It Loud" bit? That was almost embarassing.

While you blokes in the US got
"Sega CD - you sitting around waiting for Nintendo to make one?"
we in the UK got
[talk-singing] "If you want to play an impressive gag/stick a tub of semolina in a vacuum bag"

Eh?

Tip Of The Day: to 'compliment' means to pass a favourable remark, whereas to 'complement' means to complete or to go with - the nuts complemented the beer.

Yes, Phillip is a regular in the Sega news groups and others I believe. The whole cow thing is bothersome tho'. :hmm: He has quite a few games from what I remember and he seems like a nice guy too.

Check out this post I did a while back:

sorry for the double post, but in the spirit of this website, I uploaded the promotional Saturn video that was sent to everyone that had filled out a warranty card or whatever mailing list they had in the day

http://homepage.mac.com/chrisbid

since it is 8 and a half minutes long, i had to compress it to mp4 format. i used quicktime for the compression, so it should run in QT

Great link...those commercials take me back! The Aladdin one used to play every day during the Disney Afternoon for what seemed like a year. It's also kind of cool to see the promos for games I missed the first time around like Jet Grind Radio and Crazy Taxi. I think the best one was the Sonic 2 that slices and dices. Bring back the fun game commercials.

i love the dorks dig genesis commercial, it is sooooo freakin lame, it captured late 80's bubblegum hip-hop and dance music perfectly

I always loved the "Sonic 2 Infomercial" spot...i will forever remember SEGA for having some of the funniest and best commercials ever.

I have looked and looked but i can never find the Sonic 2 commercial that was shown right before the release of Sonic 2. All i remember is that it had the TV burrowing in the ground and then it popped out of the ground, flew at the door of a house then crashed on the front step after slamming into the door.

Does anyone remember this commercial or did i imagiine this?

And the Dorks love Genesis commercial = as bad as Zelda rap.

Are you certain? It looks like him, but I can't say for sure.

Kinda off-topic: my brother swears that the guy on the Turbografx-16 box was Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris from TV's "Saved by the Bell"), but I'm not convinced. Does anyone know?

I would say no. It looks like him a tiny bit but no.
