nothing fishy, its an official tec toy south america release. its wireless and uses a pal signal. there is a normal model available as well

Well, technically, it uses a PAL-M signal, meaning it runs at 60HZ like NTSC, but it will only show Black & White on a US television. And $75's a tad high for one of those anyway.

Limited release or not, what is up with those crazy Brazillians always marking up crap by a hundred bucks?

I bet this is a genuine product,,,,but i wouldnt buy it at that price. I bet any brazilian guy can buy one and send it to me for WAY less money

right, just like you knew that SE was at the store

anyhow, you might want to do a little more worldly research before saying a legit product is a pirate.

I have one, and got mine for $55 shipped. It is definitely one of my favorite items in my collection, and is very unique.

the last time i saw this on ebay, the seller said it was an unliscensed product of sega. it was even reported i believe since the auction was ended and no one had bid on it.

It's better to admittedly have no knowledge than pretend to have knowledge as some people seem to do. ^^

it's also fun to be facetious and sarcastic when know-it-alls try to "one up" everybody

you guys could be right. i just decided the guy on ebay that said it was unlicensed was right since brazil is a pretty large manufacturer of pirates (mainly famicom) to begin with.

We are right.
I'm not trying to be smug, there's plenty of information about TecToy (Official Sega licencees for South America) Master System stuff around.

It's real alright. But what I wanna know is..

How does the "Wireless RF" work? I've never seen that before! Wouldn't it be nice if every system could wirelessly transmit to your TV?
