I saw a copy of Santa Saves the Earth for GBA at a Toys R Us the other day for $19.99. I'm trying to find out if this game was ever released commercially in the U.S. and if I should pick it up before I leave this area (I'm still on holiday vacation).

Im not sure but I'd pick it up for the Oddball value alone...that beats some of the crazy stuff that was released on SNES!

Santa Claus saves the Earth is from Telegames and is available for Gameboy Advance for $19.99. I will pick it up if I see it. It may be a ToysRUs exclusive.

It will also be available for PS1 for $14.99.
Here is the link for Telegames:

Playstation 1 has the exact same screenshots.

If you want to get a real classic game pick up Shamus

It's available in the US at Toys R Us but the ones I've seen are technically not a true US release. The part number is a UK part number and it's in standard UK packaging.

It's Telegames and since the Gameboy Advance is universal, they may have brought some of the British unsold copies over. I've ordered from Telegames in the past and recieved a European boxed Gameboy game.

I *think* I remember seeing this at Gamestop at the beginning of December.

What I meant was I have yet to see a US version available. UK GBA game procuct IDs end it -P, which is what every copy I've seen had. Plenty of games were sold over the years in the US that were UK leftovers, most notably tons of GameGear games in the mid '90s.
