View Full Version : Haven: Call of the King (PS2) is really not a bad game.

For those who don't know, Haven is $5 at Circuit City. Supplies don't seem to be low, either, as many people at CAG have been buying tons and there are still copies in stores. I picked up 2 (Sorry, but there were 5 left) and started to play this game not expecting much. But, really, I find it to be pretty good. It's a generic platformer, collect X number of item Y for all of what I've done so far, but I personally needed a break from the last 20 RPGs I played in a row. There are some neat little effects, like the change of night to day, and when it starts raining, the main character (Haven) puts a rain hood on if you stand still. Anyone else have an opinion? I'm curious as I'm sure someone else has played it.

Yeah, with every large shipment of media (games/cds/movies) we usually STILL get a couple of Havens in. Must have really banked on that one being bigger than it was.

I bought this game awhile back used for $10.00..
I was very surprised to find the game to be pretty good..I kept playing it until I got stuck at some point...I think it was at a boss.
It's constant fast paced action.

It's a great game for $5.00..
