Or is there just Dark Alliance?

According to Gamespot, Dark Alliance 2 is coming to Xbox and PS2 only. And that's the way it's been ever since the game was first announced last May.

BG: Dark Alliance for the Gamecube got fairly bad reviews, anyways, because it seemed like a direct PS2 port and had a choppy framerate. I wouldn't want them to release it for GCN if they couldn't do it right.

I have BG: Dark Alliance for the GC and IMO it is really fun. It is a great 2 player game along the lines of Diablo 2 for the PC. I also own the PS2 version. Yes, the GC version is the same exact game, but it does look much better and I haven't really noticed any choppiness at least nothing that detracts from the game. Considering you can grab a brand new copy for around $20, I would highly recommend.

I did pick it up - but only for the PS2 - again largely because of the reviews. The ones I read said that of the available versions, the PS2 was preferable because the GCN one looked like a port and didn't run as well as the PS2 one. It might have been just the reviewer; I don't know. There's no reason for me to go out and get the same game twice, though...I've made my bed and now I'll sleep in it.[/img]

I've also heard repeatedly that the PS2 version is much better than the GC version, and since you can get the ps2 version for like $12 at target... <shrug>
