How about the one US special model, the Sega Sports?

The US does get a decent number of special edition consoles (Platinum Cube, Mountain Dew XBox, the 5 Ltd. Edition PS2's) though certainly not as many as the Japanese.

Am I the only one who thinks the slew of LE Dreamcasts isn't a wholly good thing? Just look at all the PS2 models out there (I'm a bit split on them...Sony's LE PS2s seem to scream "our system is too good to need a cheesy game tie-in," yet I don't care for most of the tie-ins on the LE Dreamcasts).

Give me a system that actually has features to back up its coolness factor (DC Divers comes to mind, and the PSX somewhat)...I'd rather put my money towards variants of older hardware and computer systems. :/
