WTB: Dead Dreamcast

I figured out the problem with the Dreamcast I bought today. The guy who had it smashed, bent, and broke all the pins in the AV port.

I guess what I'm looking for now is a dead Dreamcast that I can steal that port off of and wire/solder in. I haven't even looked to see how it was connected.

I have $12 invested so far. How much does a working, used Dreamcast go for? I got a feeling I should just trash this one.

'bout $20 from Gamestop. By the time you invest shipping $ in a broken DC, you can probably pick up a working one locally.

speaking of picking up a dreamcast locally... does anyone know if gamestop is going to continue their dreamcast 30% off sale again? in another thread someone said it was through january, but this definitely isn't the case... so far. if so, a $14 dreamcast is a sweet deal

My GameStop had all their Dreamcast marked $29.99 and all of 5 games. :(
I guess it was store dependant.

i know all ebgames/ electronics boutique stores are selling dreamcasts with a free game priced 7.99 or less for 20 bux, but it think the sale ended today, i got a mint in box dreamcast with all papers and cables (even the phone cord), just missing web browser version 2 and demo disc "generator" volume 2
