Nope, doesn't exist. You can get a Genesis and Sega CD in one unit, but no 32x.

Its called the Sega Titan. Its a combination of sega genesis and 32x (not sure about the cd part). I used to think that it didnt exist until i saw a picture of one prototype. The pic was taken in a Game Show. I cant remember where i saw it...but prototypes defenitevely exist!!!

P.s. Maybe i saw that pic here in digitpress. in a page with pics from the trade shows or something...

Sega Titan is an arcade set up, or so a recent Google search says. I believe the 32X + Genny combo was called the Neptune.

the Neptune was a pseudo-myth from Sega, none are known to exist.

*looks at pics he took at CGE*

Man, what I would have done to get my hands on that thing...

I see someone didn't go to CGE.

Was that Neptune at the convention just the mockup plastic shell or an actual working model though?

My bad, I guess I stand corrected. And no I didn't go, but I'll be damned if I don't go next year :D

As far as I know, the Geny+Sega CD+ 32X all in wonder was the

JUPITER

Not Neptune. :hmm:

Remember, the 32X was also called the Mars and the later 32 bit console was the Saturn (DOH)

If you remember the planets goes MARS-JUPITER-SATURN-NEPTUNE

So there is NO WAY the all in wonder could be named NEPTUNE... If the newer 32 bit system was SATURN

People know what google is right?

Sega Neptune: http://consoledatabase.retrofaction.com/consoleinfo/seganeptune/

32x + Genesis (all in one) = Sega Neptune Project

The only thing I can find on "Sega Jupiter" are sites saying that Jupiter/Mars ended up being the 32X

FWI: Sega Titan aka the STV was named after a moon of Saturn.

That site has all those homemade things, the Neptune Prototype and no CDX? :hmm:

OK, so how hard would it be for someone who knew what they were doing to make their own Neptune? Seems like you could just take apart a couple of old systems and build one. BTW, Sega were fools. I would've paid $400!

I remember an article in an EGM a few years ago where they found some actual finished Neptunes in a warehouse. Even had a website where they were up for sale. Sadly, this was before I had an internet connection (before December 98), so I was never able to check/buy one. If a collector has them, check the 1997-8 volumes of EGM.

That was an April Fools joke.

Happy late April Fool's! :bday:

The Neptune never existed in reality; the images everyone has seen are case mockups only. No working system guts were ever made. We don't even know it the designs were final; all we know is the machine were made at Sega's low swing in the nineties. As such, the thing was cancelled before any more money was wasted on an item no-one at the time would buy.

This would be a good project for the portable systems creator benhack (sp?). I WOULD pay a lot of money for a genesis/32x combo and Im sure others would too!

And I would LOVE to jump here and remember everyone that Enemy Zero ripped me off and my Paging thread was closed because EneymZero replied ONCE and only ONCE.
