I emailed the guy asking if he would sell it ouright (the throwing it in the garbage part made me think cheap). He emails me back, stating he added a Buy It Now! of $50!!! Damn having to go into work on Sundays or it would have been mine! :( LOL

HAhahahaha. So in an attempt to screw over the other buyers, you screwed over yourself. Gotta love it. What goes around comes around.

Well, let's see. You asked the seller if he would sell it outright, there by cutting out the chance for others to bid. The seller responds by adding a BIN to the auction to comply with your request. Except that YOU don't get the BIN that, in essence, YOU asked for, because you were working, and one of those other buyers you were seeking to cut out (even indirectly) got the deal instead.

Sure, I understand that... and that is exactly how it went, but...

The issue of eBay ethics on buying stuff outright is idiotic. Why? Because if I was selling the Nintendo World Championship cart and MarioAllStar2600 had the offer for me to end it early for $100 for him... would he refuse because he might be "screwing" other buyers? I doubt it, and even if he did that's just dumb. So instead of replying like a jerk, I put some questions up. Besides, I'm the guy who didn't get the deal and think it's kind of funny, so what gives? Don't crap your pants, guys.

75 bucks just for that? Thats not too great of a price. Maybe if you can get more money for it then maybe.

greg and suppa...the 3D glasses alone are worth well more than the cost of that entire lot.

We're not crapping our pants. We thought it was kind of funny, too. Funny in a "que cera, cera," that's-what-you-get sort of way.

Well, all I can say is, whoever got the lot got a good deal, and I hope they enjoy their new master system. :)

Cheap as chips!

Some very rare and nice games there, not to mention the glasses

In the UK, here alone the boxed SMS 2 would most likely be worth $75-$100...
