They sell them on their site for $199. Seems high to me, I mean I'm sure I could pick up a shit cabinet and install a JAMMA board into it for less than $200. If you're pressed for space or have no interest in collecting cabs, it would be a nice addition. Most of the switcher's I've seen to date have been home made.

NOTE: Here's an 8 board switcher I just found on Google for $125 + shipping.

i take it it's this thing:

hmm it's nice to add on and stuff, wonder if this is mre the way to go. Yeah i only got one cab, and it has room...but i don't think 8 boards of room...sheesh.

Yeah that's the one. My URL didn't post.

With the 8 port one you would have room for expansion. You could put 8 boards in any cabinet, just have to build some sort of shelves to hold each one.

This looks like an advance switcher..

the fact that they call it a "digital switch" suggests that when the system starts up, it gives you a screen to select between what game to play, or at the least, a special key combination is used to jump between JAMMA boards.

This is much more sophisticated than the simple mechanical switching jamma board that I can come up with.

Also, don't forget that in most cases, both JAMMA boards will be powered at the same time. As such, you should have a power supply that can power 2 boards (most machines have matching power ratings)

I have purchased arcade parts from this company in the past. There custom made stuff is really nice and well made.
