It's a lousy game, basically a cheap modification of KOF 2001. The designers recolored all the characters, and the final opponent is a flaming hot ball of gas. The battle with the fiery orb at the end of the game is hilarious, but past that the game offers little in the way of entertainment.

Cheezus! And all this time, I honestly thought it was part of the background! Well, I'm not eager to play this anytime soon. "Shoddy" seems to be an appropriate word for this bootleg... :hmm:

Yeah, I'm afraid so. It's a challenging opponent, but because it has no limbs it's difficult to tell just when it's attacking you. Usually, it just chucks fireballs and occasionally swoops down at you. It's a really awkward fight and one of the many reasons that the game sucks.
Note to self: consider including this in Fighter's Misery, the bad fighting games section of The Gameroom Blitz...

So, aside from the title, does this game have anything at all to do with the movie? Does it at least use the names of characters from the movie? I certainly don't remember any flaming ball of gas... but it's been a while since I saw it, so who knows?

In a word, no. I played it all the way to the end and I saw absolutely no relation between this game and the film.
