Given, I'm in Japan, and this is the freaking mother of "we'll get the price as we did during the bubble" society, but c'mon... walk down the street and see how much the next guy is charging.

Zelda: Kaze no Tact
at Bic Camera in Shibuya 999 yen
at Don Quiote (a 'bargain' shop) 5999 yen

sheesh

So just buy it at 999 yen then. :P

I remember in Akihabara shopping around and Super Famicom Metroid was all over the map as far as price goes. I just took my time and eventually found it for the equivalent of 9 bucks at Laox(?), although in several other places it was anywhere from $20-$50.

Lol...and it's good to know that I was almost right with my estimate for that price ($50, it's actually $56 according to xe.com). Well, it seems to me that most stores here are still selling GC titles for top dollar. Heh.

I've actually got the game... was just pointing out. THe same store had Super Puzzle Bobble for like 5900 yen, and it was down the street for 2400 or so.

When I sold, I always made sure I was cheaper than the next guy... ensured more sales.

The Yen is disturbingly strong right now.
