Moomins Tale GBC, Unreleased?

I got a copy of this game as a gift from a friend about 1 year ago, tried it and put it among my other GB games.

I found it again this week when i were rearranging my gamedrawers, and it struck me that I havent seen it anywhere else since i got it.
So i did a search on google, found a preview but no reveiew, checked the list of released GBC games in sweden at the swedish distributor and it wasnt there. Couldn't find it in the DP guide.

Some online stores have it on their pages, but with releasedates unknown andd not in stock.

It's made by sunsoft and it sure looks like a retail version of the game, with box, manual and cart.

Im not collecting games for any handheld system (yet) so i want to know if this game really is unreleased or just rare.

I will ask my friend where he got it, that might shed some light on it, but i doubt he bought it since i got it for free.

The US version was cancelled, but it was widely released in Europe, which is the version I'd assume you own.

What's the part number? If it ends in -EUR it's a European release. Other European codes for certain countries are -UKV & -FRG. US releases end in -USA, Japanese games end in -JPN.

Ugh, I can see why (http://media.pocket.ign.com/media/014/014877/imgs_1.html) it was canceled! The graphics are awful and it doens't look like anything is even happening in the game screens!

For a GBC game those screens look great imo.

Thanks for the replies, seems like it might have been released in the UK but i still cant find any proof of it, and its not available from any online store.

I know that it was cancelled in Sweden since theres only one distributor of nintendo games, and it's not on their list over released games.
