At CGE this past year Telegames was selling them for 25 bucks a piece LOOSE! I wanted Nolan Bushnell to sign one but refused to pay those prices.

Now, this is funny. Should I bid? Well, for one thing, check his Me Page. OoOoOhHhH no! Small claims court! Scary, huh? Except the info on the account is all fake, and the email address could vanish at a moment's notice. And then there's the FIRST time someone tried to sue me for not paying for something:

Subject: *eBay* legal proceedings against you
Date: Fri, 21 Jun 2002 09:38:38 +1000
Hi,
I have been in consultation with my lawyer and eBay and legal proceedings
will soon be underway against you for your failure to pay me for the NES
International Cricket box you won on 16 April. By winning the auction you
entered a LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT. Since you are refusing to pay you have left me no choice but to proceed down this path. You will be contacted shortly.
So, guess how much the box ended at? And guess what happened?
$1.28US
And yes, I just laughed at him, and he cursed me out back. And yes, I should have just paid to start with.
So I'm not worried. So should I bid?

Well, sadly, I can't even do it! The auction won't end unless lawyer overcharger gets his Paypal immediately. And I can't pay $40 for a gag. And paying would make the whole point of it redundant. Oh well, we'll just have to ridicule him from our happy home on these boards.

It gets better. Check out the shipping. It'd cost TWENTY BUCKS to send two 2600 sticks to my house?!?
And since WHEN does it take TEN DAYS for a MONEY ORDER to clear?

Well, that's sending them overnight USPS, which is exactly what it should be. But that's crap if he expects you to take the shipping he wants.
Times like this, I wish you could make a fake Paypal account, with fake money, so you can pay this goof, and then go "haha, no more money, the end". And STILL get the ridicule by using the fakie gag account.
I need yet another new hobby.
