If we were to have an Animal Crossing like contest, complete with fabulous prizes- what would you like to see?
A unique town contest? Fanart/fiction? Personifying AC the best? What??

A house decorating contest would be cool, except it'll be tough to get screenshots.

Definitely. Who has the best room, if nothing else, who has the highest rating, winning only needs to verify screenshot of residence and high score from the HRA.
That way we all don't have to get off our lazy asses and take screen shtos, just whoever wants to win :)

Like the idea of the best room, But i think it should be judged on by members voting, insted or HRA score. Post some screen shots, everyone votes, this way your score is not based on some design rules a game has built in, this way decorating could be more creative?
