Tonight I was checking out my cell phone and was seeing what new games came out for it that I can buy right on the phone using airtime. The games are charged right to the cell phone bill. I looked at the categories and of course my first choice was the Classic Games category. Low and behold, right there below pac-man, mrs. pac-man and a few atari games was my all time favorite, BURGERTIME. Of course I bought that right away. $6.25 later and I am the proud new owner of a portable copy of Burgertime.

For all those SNK fans (I'm probably buying this one next), they have a version of The King of Fighters on here also.

For the curious, they have many cell phone version of newer games too, such as XIII, Splinter Cell, Rainbow 6 and many others. Worth checking out if you have a cell phone that has the game buying service on it.

Hey, everyone!

I'm digging up this old topic to ask for help in choosing a new mobile phone. I want to stick with Sprint PCS as my service provider, but I want to upgrade to something that will allow me to download a few games (Tetris, Ms.Pac-Man) and, if possible, browse websites with a fairly high-resolution screen.

Does anyone have a particular model of phone that's serving them very well? Any recommendations?

I have a Samsung x426 phone and I love it....the only thing is, it's REALLY small. I don't think Sprint carries that exact model but I believe they have a similar one.

But just make sure whatever new phone you get uses the J2ME java standard rather than DoJa......most of the good cell phone games out there use J2ME.

I worked on Intellivision's Night Stalker for Cell Phones, but I don't think it was ever released.
